Our inspection uncovered a failed opener and chain. We removed the old unit and installed a new LiftMaster 2220L with 7-foot chain rail. We replaced the 25-year-old springs from 1999 with new .250x2x30 LW and RW springs, installed 10 new nylon rollers, and verified proper spring tension and opener operation. After assisting with MyQ setup, we explained the warranties: lifetime parts and labor on springs and rollers, 3-year parts and labor on the opener. We demonstrated safe, proper operation. Customer was satisfied with the completed work.
